chanced upon SOMEONE's blog and saw a lame and interesting math question
so decided to try solving it for fun
it's like 1.26am now.
and yet im still not sleeping
but here i am.. trying to crack my half-dead brain and come up with an answer
LOL!
but eh.. quite fun to solve leh! =p
take a look at this lame question:
this is a FIFTH GRADE math problem
there are 7 girls in a bus
each girl have 7 backpacks
in each backpacks, there are 7 big cats
for every big cats, there are 7 little cats
so the question is
HOW MANY LEGS ARE THERE IN A BUS?!
*assuming there is no bus driver*
this is not a trick question
this is a real math problem
so don't say the bus has legs
and below is my solution:
7 girls : 7 x 7 = 49 bags
49 bags : 49 x 7 = 343 big cats
343 big cats: 343 x 7 = 2401 little cats
2401 little cats: = 2401 x 4 = 9604 legs
No. of legs for little cats = 2401 x 4 = 9604
No. of legs for big cats = 343 x 4 = 1372
No. of legs for girls = 7 x 2 = 14
Total no. of legs altogether
= Little cats + Big cats + Girls
= 9604 + 1372 + 14
= 10990 !!! and according to tat SOMEONE:
THE FIFTH GRADE MATH QUESTION IS SOLVED!&& THE ANSWER IS 10990 LEGS IN TOTAL!did anyone manage to get the correct answer?! HAHA.
